Off The Wall

Off the wall was Michael Jacksons very first solo album as and adult singer which has been released in August 1979.

He had the ambition to make it as good as he could. Since he met Quincey Jones he was able to produce this wonderful album.

Also Michael Jackson wanted to have the cd sound differently than that of his former band 'The Jacksons'.
He aspired to use songs that he could sing and move well to. "Rock With You", "Burn This Disco Out" and "off the wall" were noticably the hits from the CD.

"Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" was the first song Michael Jackson had complety written himself and became a #1 hit in the US.

Thriller

Michael Jackson worked with Quincey Jones to produce the CD Michael Jackson always dreamed of named 'Thriller'. Rod Temperton wrote some of his songs, including the title track.

Every song was meant to be a single. Michael created the top song 'Beat It' after finnaly sining it to Quincey Jones who loved this rocking song. Also Michael worked together with Paul Mc Cartney and created the songs 'say say say' and 'The Girl Is Mine'. Billy Jean was based on his experiences he had with girl fans and it became one of his biggest hit ever.

Since the album was supported by movie-like video clips, sales of this CD went though the roof with sales going over 50 million copies.

Bad

After 'Thriller' Michael Jackson invested all his effort to creating a worty follow up CD which took him 2 and a half years.

Michael Jackson worked with Quincey Jones to release the album 'Bad'. They both had the ambition to make the best album in existence.

Michael Jackson having gained more experienced at writing wrote all song except for the song 'man in the mirror' which he wrote with Siedah Garrett and 'Just good friends', his duet with Stevie Wonder.

Since CDs got more advances, Michael Jackson was able to add the tack "Leave Me Alone" whit the obvious message of him wanting to have his deserved privacy.

This album solled 25 million copies.

Dangerous

The CD Dangerous got released on November 26, 1991 and became the fastest selling album climbing on the #1 place in the charts after three days after the release.

Dangerous was not produced by Quincy Jones

Nine tracks on the album were singles; "Black Or White", "Remember The Time", "Jam", "In The Closet", "Heal The World", "Who Is It", "Will You Be There", and "Gone Too Soon".

The album solled 21 million copies

HIStory

On June 20, 1995, Michael Jackson released his first solo album HiStory which included his best hits and 15 new tracks. The 30 songs added up to more than 150 minutes of great music! Special editions where released to different countries like Canada, Germany, Holland, and France.

Michael Jackson used for the first time keywords, a synthesizer, drums and percussion and guitar.

Since many songs were with angry undertones, the album was rather controversial. Though the cd also had softer undertones with ballads like "You Are Not Alone", "Earth Song", "Stranger In Moscow" and "Smile".

Five singles of the album were; "Scream", "Earth Song", "You Are Not Alone", "Stranger In Moscow", and "They Don't Care About Us".

The album got on #1 in 19 countries around the world, with 15 million album sales. The song 'You Are Not Alone' debuted on #1 on the Billboard music charts.

Blood on the Dance Floor

On May 1997, Micheal Jackson released 'Blood on the Dance Floor'. It conatined 5 new songs and 8 remixed from the HIStory Album/

Despite that the CD was hardly promoted due to it being a promotional tool for the European HIStory tour, it god globally succesful, with the title single reaching the #1 in 10 countires.

Two singles where releaed for this album. The first one 'Blood On The Dance Floor' was released globally while the second one was 'History/Ghosts' was rleased in Europe and Australia.

The album has sold 4 million copies world wide.

The album 'Invincible' was released on october 29, 2001. The 16-track album has been said to be Michael Jackson's best work since 'Thriller'and was expected to change the music industry.
